Christy Intern

Christy Barber, Master Level Intern

I believe that healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard. So many people carry deep pain, often hidden beneath the surface — grief, loss, identity struggles, or the lasting impact of early wounds. My heart is to offer a space where that pain can be acknowledged without judgment and where your story is held with care.

As a parent of an adopted child, I bring both personal and professional insight into the unique dynamics of adoption and foster care. I have a deep passion for working with teens from these backgrounds and supporting the parents and caregivers who walk alongside them. At the same time, I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life who are navigating the challenges of anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or life transitions. Whether you're facing a specific issue or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to provide support, clarity, and connection.

My approach is grounded in the belief that we are shaped by our relationships — and that secure, trusting relationships can also be the place where restoration begins. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to do it alone.
